What am I doing????

Yes I’m back at work – in the middle of my long service leave – to fill behind a management position. I’m now the acting Coordinator of ABC Radio’s Regional Production Fund. Today was day one of Handover in which I am bombarded with a bewildering array of projects – pending and otherwise – and a spreadsheet which adds its own bewilderment factor to the equation.

I start full-time on Monday.

How do I feel about it? Well I think it will be good for the CV, certainly will be interesting to learn how the commissioning process works and how to get money out of the ABC! And I think it will be fantastic from a networking point of view because you are in contact with a great many program makers from all of the ABC’s radio networks.
