Pallas Hair

September 28, 2004

Okay so it’s a bit shorter and a bit bobbier than expected… But it seemed the right thing to do at the time. The colour has also been corrected. Yes I know I know it looks EXACTLY the same colour as before but a lot of technology has gone into that head of hair so appreciate it.

Why have I called it Pallas Hair? In the Archetrek Manual: “Her hairstyle may reflect the ‘helmet’ look.” I remembered that as I was sitting there having it blow-dried…

While I am here…

Georges is turning 40 today! And Cath is still but a spring chicken. I hope you both have a fabulous birthday. We’re sending our love ~~~~~~~~~~ :) S

The angel of marriage

September 28, 2004

Today my angel card read “I am the Angel of Marriage, and I am assisting you right now.”

Well good I thought.

I have been assisting myself. Had a massage with Mum this morning - what a way to start a day off! I chose Joy as the oil blend (Mum gives you a sniff test and you choose the oil that smells best to you - and it’s usually what you need most) and now I am flying. I feel fantastic! I was tossing up between Joy and Harmony and couldn’t we all do with both at the moment.

The brilliant thing about Mum’s massages is that her fingers are like blockage magnets… she just goes straight to the knot and works it out. It is sometimes a bit painful - especially if you haven’t been looking after yourself - but wow! Afterwards you feel bloody great! You can of course tell her you just want a gentle massage - but personally what is the point of that?! I know I am preaching to the converted on this website but as Molly Meldrum would say “Do yourself a favour” and book in »

Haircut today. And I’m going for the medium cut. Thanks to everyone who voted. I’m just getting a bit bored of the long hair so off it goes. A new poll will be added soon.

We had a great game of dnd last night - what a hoot! I’m getting around to the story next!

Meantime STILL haven’t heard about the job. At least it’s given me A LOT of thinking time. Luv yas all - S

Brilliant website

September 27, 2004

Finding it difficult working out what the different political parties can offer you? Check out this new website http://www.comparepolicies.com.au/

Why did you create this site?

The idea came in the wee small hours one morning, and was inspired by a very simple notion – that it would be great if there was a web site where you could compare candidates policies without all the political spin that usually goes with election campaigns.

Once we had explored the idea in more detail, it became obvious that this was something we had to do.

Do you think this will make any difference?

We hope so.

Don’t you think it’s a bit sad that you wake up in the morning thinking about political web sites?

Yes we do.

If someone would offer me income splitting then I would vote for them.

Blog this!

September 26, 2004

Touchdown! Rory is blogging - Read Groover’s Alley » - and find out about this photo.

I’ve been helping Mum with updating Know Yourself Heal Yourself which observant visitors will notice also has a blogger front page.

It has been another gorgeous day in paradise and as the election grows ever nearer my conviction as to who to vote for grows ever more vague… sigh.

Long Hair Short Hair

September 25, 2004

Okay just because I still have Janet’s scanner and in case you don’t remember five years ago… Here’s a photo of me with short hair. I should mention that I am heading towards short but at the moment can’t quite say sayonara to long hair so I’m thinking medium length hair… There is also serious make up used in this photo as I had been helping out a friend doing a make-up course.

Anyway while I’m here - Happy Anniversary Rory!

Happy Birthday Dad!

September 25, 2004

Happy Birthday Dad - 66 years young! We love you.

And before I forget - of the 13 who voted - 3 of you think my son is crazy for jumping in our freezing pool in September - 9 think he is tough - and one of you said you thought he was just wet and cold. Guess what? You are ALL correct! :)

I go to the hairdressers on Tuesday so I will be taking the current poll results into account - apart from the joker who voted for the Sinead look!!

Archetrek Forum

September 24, 2004

Seeing as I had the capacity with my web “package” and I’ve been dying to find a forum on which I can discuss Archetrek - I’ve set up a forum to talk about the archetypes. This is not in anyway part of archetrek.com - just an informal discussion. So if you’ve mapped your archetypes or are just interested in all this stuff I go on about - feel free to join in!

Gmail and Footy

September 24, 2004

The weather in Perth today is SENSATIONAL. I love living here when the sun is shining and people are smiling.

Which is what I do when I think about my gmail account - very very nice to use. And I have some invites if you want to sign up - it’s free. You can email me using my username to this blog @gmail.com.

Hugo has his first footy presentation tomorrow!

My son is crazy

September 22, 2004

So it’s the middle of September right? And right now it’s (let me check) bloody cold - 17 degrees celcius - and even colder in our frigid pool but does that stop Hugo?

By the way, in our last poll question: “Does my bum look fat in this?” We had 9 unsure voters who said No, and 2 extremely sweet voters who voted No! (Hugo and I). Hmmmm maybe I should go back to Weightwatchers….
