Today I went with 15 other girls to a lunch to celebrate our friend Deb’s upcoming nuptials at the C Blu Restaurant attached to the OBH in Cottesloe. It was a postcard perfect afternoon. The sea a most gorgeous shade of turquoise, the sun shining, the wine flowing.
The food was okay (the fish of the day a little disappointing) and the restaurant is full of hard surfaces and so loud. However you can’t beat that view – it was spectacular and the company was great.

Also this weekend after going to Rally Australia (more photos in gallery) Melissa, Bevan, Rory and I went to see Bridget Jones’s Diary – The Edge of Reason. Melissa hated it and I don’t think Bevan loved it. But I liked it. It’s a bit of fun. Not meant to be high cinema and it isn’t. I was a bit disappointed it wasn’t true to the book but then in compensation we did have Hugh Grant.
Tonight we had a barbie with Evan and Abi. Our first of the season. Then watched Casey do brilliantly on Idol – Go Casey! You deserve to win girlfriend!
