The reviews are in

Not that I’m biased but I do agree with this particular review of Groover’s first ever stage production (with lines and everything) – Arsenic and Old Lace:

Within this set we meet Joseph Kesselring’s bizarre characters, all of whom are presented by well-chosen actors, but one must say that the standout character of Teddy Brewster/Roosevelt is played in a manic, no-holds-barred fashion by Groover. He brings a new dimension to the term ’barking mad’.

Einstein: My how I’ve changed…
Teddy: Well, you see, that picture hasn’t even been taken yet…

A classic moment.

Teddy:  I’m President Roosevelt.

Charge!

Mortimer:  Good news Mr President, your term of office is over.

Teddy:  It’s out of my hands.  He’ll have to be told.  Army regulations you know.

Teddy:  When the President of the United States can be treated like that, what is the country coming to?

Teddy:  So that’s it, a nature faker!

Love your blog but the new font is way too small – ok I am over 50 but help us out here!!!!

Yes it is a bit small. I will hack into the code and bigify it.

Thanks for the feedback!

John – Cellobella is as blind as we are, she just has a 30″ monitor which helps to “bigify” stuff.

OK the bold is helping!

Although I must say I still prefer the old layout – plenty of white space in each post & you didn’t have to click read more to read more!

I am fan of your blog – it’s original & fresh! Just don’t like the design changes!!
But I will hang in there!

Wow… I have to say that I didn’t even recognise your Groover in those photo’s – it was just another fella with a good looking bald head (Us Chrome-domes have to stick together Groover)!

What a transformation! I wish I was there to have seen it now – because local theatre is definitely the sort of theatre I enjoy…

Glad to hear it went so well… ;-)
