I don’t care that he might get 7.whatever million over whatever years to go back to Melbourne… it still smells like a traitor to me.
And I don’t even go for the West Coast Eagles.
Loyalty – does anyone know what that is anymore???

I think that the AFL themselves are to blame when it comes to this sort of thing. The salary cap structure limits the ability of a club like the WCE to pay the fee he will probably demand for a star of Judd’s quality under their salary cap. Particularly with so many other high paid star’s in the side. On the other hand Carlton could pay the $$ due to the way the Salary cap has positioned them. Imagine Carlton icking up 2 priority pick’s and Judd. Next year they could be a Flag contender.
I dont think Judd is disloyal.
Grant
No I don’t think he’s disloyal. In fact you could argue that he is being loyal to his home state and family by going back. We were lucky to have him in WA as long as we did. Good luck to him… and to Carlton.
(see I can be magnanimous)
i am a hardcore west coast fan/member. while i am just devastated to lose Chris Judd, i do not have ill feelings towards him or see it as a lack of loyalty. i thank him for the the wonderful memories, and will cheer him when he comes back to subiaco in his new strip. this has nothing to do with money. i do believe that he would sign for below market value if it was “home”.
get rid of this traitor talk – its not justified!
PLEASE CHEER JUDDY BACK
i am an eagles diehard but wont be able to make it to the ground on the day but to anybody going to the game:
Cheer!!!
Dont you have so many fond memorys of him?
I do.
CHEER HIM BACK!
