I was dropping off one of my daughter’s friends the other day and ended up staying for a glass of wine… as you do… and while I was there, two other cars rolled up the drive and blocked me in (at least that was my excuse for not getting home until 8pm – hey, it was still light). Anyhoo, all four cars in the drive were silver.
And Groover’s car is silver. And my friend J’s new car is silver (although I think TP’s is light blue).
I drove around today and I noticed that A LOT of cars driving around are silver.
Is silver the new white?

I have always been blown away by the number of white cars over here – with window tinting and air-conditioning being the norm now you would have thought people would look for more exciting colours. If you look out of the plane onto a carpark in the UK you will see predominantly red cars – have to do something to make up for the dull weather!
