Well as it turns out my ‘crucial’ second preference wasn’t even called into play. All that agonising for nothing.

I can’t remember what I was going to write about tonight but I figure that if I start typing it might come to me… it hasn’t yet.

Last night mc’d the Red Cross Ball. Couldn’t eat a thing – the table must’ve thought I was anorexic – apart from the obvious indicator that I’m not. We were sitting at the Governor’s table and he I must say is a lovely bloke. Absolutely charming… as I guess you’d expect. It was a good dance – the Greg Shultz Big Band was terrific. Food was a bit average though.
